对澳洲坚果的常规嫁接技术进行了简要的述评,并指出常规利用的接穗的直径不小子1.25厘米、砧木苗龄为18个月。叙述了一种搭接方法,其中所利用的砧木和接穗都很小,而且保持在一个布满杀菌剂的密封聚乙烯袋的环境中,嫁接成活率达到85—90%。嫁接的植株可在很幼小的时候移入大田定植,既降低了成本,又可提高繁殖率。嫁接苗移植后生长极好。
The conventional grafting techniques for Macadamia nuts were briefly reviewed and it was pointed out that conventionally used scions have a diameter of not more than 1.25 cm and a rootstock of 18 months. A lap-splitting method is described in which both the rootstock and scion used are small and maintained in a sealed polyethylene bag filled with a germicidal agent with a graft-to-graft survival of 85-90%. Grafted plants can be moved to field colonization at an early age, reducing costs and increasing reproductive rates. Grafted seedlings grow well after transplantation.
