This article describes the reclamation of iron ore from the tailings using the permanent magnetic high gradient magnetic separator, called iron wheel, at the Nolte Minerals Company, a subsidiary of the Armentale Group of Coahuila, Mexico. Semi-industrial tests and industrial tests provided the basis for the expansion planning of the beneficiation plant.
