戴姆勒-克莱斯勒集团,宝马集团,大众集团、福特集团、通用集团、丰田、日产、PSA标致雪铁龙集团等公司总部已将北京车展定位于全球A级车展。这不难看出汽车巨头们早已将中国看作一块诱人的大“蛋糕”,纷纷争抢。大众汽车集团旗下五大主力品牌——大众汽车、奥迪、斯柯达、宾利、兰博基尼悉数在北京车展亮相。以4459平方米的展台总面积和42款展车,组成前所未有的强大阵容,囊括了从超豪华轿车到经济型轿车等几乎所有车型品种,其中既有上海大众、一汽-大众两大合资企业的最新产品,也有首次在国内亮相的多款概念车和经典老爷车。
