作为江苏省年轻的小学数学特级教师和南通师范学院兼职教授,曹平的奋斗步履坚实而洒脱。他早已领略到令同龄人羡慕不已的幸运和成功:在除港澳台地区外的全国所有省级以上教育刊物上共发表了400多篇120多万字的论文,其中被中国人民大学报刊复印资料收录40余篇;应各地邀请,先后赴洛阳、郑州、杭州、南京、厦门、福州等地讲学近百场……一 1986年2月,曹平从一所普通的农村小学调至通州市实验小学。实小的阅览室,使曹平感受到从未有过的兴奋。于是,曹平在完成两班数学教学任务之后,投入到了“办公室——教室——阅览室”的直线运动,由博览到精读,由精读到制作卡片,写阅读笔记,曹平终于尝到了甜果。1987年1月,《小学数学参考资料》发表了他题为《计算题的设计层次》这篇处女作。“现在看那篇文章很稚嫩,但当时我的确激动万分。”曹平红润的脸庞依然荡漾着当初的那份欣喜。

From exposition to intensive reading, from intensive reading to making cards and reading notes, Cao Ping finally tasted sweet fruit.
