一五十集电视连续剧《渴望》的播出,在京津等地引起了轰动,在南方城市,也是一个收视率极高的剧目,几乎风靡了大半个中国。一个电视剧,能受到如许的关注,必有道理;众说纷纭,则更有其道理。道理就是规律。本来,从《渴望》引伸出去,讨论若干戏剧创作,或者说文学创作的规律性问题,应该说是一个饶有兴趣的题目。可惜的是,我看《渴望》,稍微有些断断续续,虽然由于中央台和上海台的交叉,有时补看了,大概还是没有能补看得十分齐全,而《渴望》的剧本又还没有看到,所以又未能对这个剧本进行仔细的研究。只能就印象谈问题,说不上讨论创作规律,只能谈些随想。谈随想也有个好处,可以少点拘束,想到哪里就说到哪里。倒也能说点实在话,少点论文腔。
