党的十六大确立了本世纪头二十年全面建设小康社会、加快推进社会主义现代化的宏伟蓝图,紧接着召开的中央经济工作会议又对全面做好今年的经济工作作出了具体部署。我们要深入学习贯彻党的十六大和中央经济工作会议精神,紧密结合重庆实际,按照市委二届二次全委会和全市经济工作会议的部署和要求,抓住机遇,加快发展,与时俱进,开拓创新,团结和动员全市广大干部群众,加快富民兴渝、全面建设小康社会的步伐,努力在新的起点上不断开创重庆各项工作的新局面。
The 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China established the grand blueprint of building an overall well-to-do society in the first two decades of this century and accelerating the socialist modernization. The Central Economic Work Conference that followed immediately made concrete plans for the full implementation of this year’s economic work. We must thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 16th National Congress of the CPC and the Central Economic Work Conference, integrate closely with Chongqing’s reality, follow the deployment and requirements of the 2nd Municipal Committee of the CPC and the economic work conference of the whole municipality, seize the opportunities, speed up development and keep pace with the times Advance and innovate, unite and mobilize the entire cadre masses in the city, speed up the process of enriching the people and building the well-to-do society in an all-round way, and strive to continuously create a new situation in all fields of work in Chongqing from a new starting point.
