1984年,临朐县博物馆于县城南45公里的明道寺舍利塔塔基地宫中,清理出一大批北朝至隋的佛教石造像及残件。据纪年铭,造像时代最早为北魏正光,最晚为隋大业,大多属东魏至北齐时期。题材主要为背屏式一佛二菩萨三尊像、圆雕立佛、立菩萨及思惟菩萨,与紧邻的青州龙兴寺窖藏造像极为相似,亦与诸城造像类同,具有明显的时代和地域特征。与造像同出的“明道寺新创舍利塔壁记”石碑,记述了这批造像于北宋初年人藏的经过,对了解同是北宋人藏的青州龙兴寺造像提供了线索。
In 1984, Linqu County Museum in the county 45 kilometers south of Ming Road Temple stupa base palace, cleared a large number of Northern Dynasty to Sui Buddhist stone statues and remnants. According to Chronicle, the earliest portraits of the Northern Wei Zhengguang, the latest for the Sui Dynasty, most of the Eastern Wei Dynasty to the Northern Qi Dynasty. The themes mainly include three statues of the back of the screen, one Buddha and two bodhisattvas, the erected Buddha, the bodhisattva and the bodhisattva, closely resembled the cellars of the adjacent Longzhou Temple of Qingzhou. They are also similar to the statues of Zhucheng and have obvious characteristics of the times and regions. Similar to the statues, “Ming dynasty temple new stupa wall tablet” stone, describes the collection of statues in the early Northern Song dynasty possession of people passing, understanding of the same is the Northern Song Dynasty possession of Qingzhou Longxing Temple statues provide a clue.
