前几天,晚辈们搞了个敬老餐叙,话题转到了这几年的风气巨变。我讲了三个想不到:十八大召开后仅短短两年多一点,想不到横行一时的贪官污吏会受到如此痛击,想不到弱化一时的亲民作风会重回党政机关,想不到盛行一时的“讲不清”论调会被公开、追责斥退。晚辈们一方面对我的感叹表示认可,一方面又问到以前的党风到底好到何种程度。我遂讲述了三件亲历之事以作佐证。
