然而 ,现在不同了 ,SARS(Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome非典型肺炎 )拉近了我们与这一概念的距离 ,让我们感受更加切身和贴近。
Social emergencies are not a fresh concept. Before the “91 1” incident in the United States, there was a catastrophic fall in the New York stock market on January 19, 1987, which was known as “Black Monday.” There was also a memorable Mexican financial crisis and Southeast Asia financial crisis. These social emergencies seem far away from us and do not threaten our own existence - life. Therefore, we did not deliberately know about it, nor did we have to study the impulse and mission. However, the difference now is that the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) has narrowed our distance from this concept and made us feel more personal and closer. Awareness is sometimes painful and costly, especially when it comes to the cost of human life. SARS has gone beyond medicine. Social emergencies and social crisis triggered by SARS bring sociology research to the forefront and give it responsibility. It is time for sociologists to come on stage, ask questions to the community, and show the community and prove to the community. The following article is a series of articles from the Department of Sociology, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Fuzhou University, Dr. Dou Dou, who organized a sociology major in the sociology department of the hospital. Taking “SARS” as an example, he conducted a study on social emergencies and social crisis Discussion papers. The students systematically expounded their views on the social issues exposed by this “SARS” from a multi-angle perspective and also put forward some constructive suggestions and suggestions. Our ability is limited, maybe we are “sitting on the road”, maybe we are only a group of “I think so I am” practice?
