近年来,热带植物的代表——棕榈植物的种植在华南地区掀起了热潮。诚然,华南地区有适合棕榈植物生长的土壤、气温环境,它们一般都能在这里生长良好,在园林设计中如果合理地选用它们,往往可以创造出极富特色的热带风情园。然而一些人、一些单位为了赶潮流,不论适当与否,将一些已种上数十年的老树砍掉改种为大王椰子等棕榈植物,极大地浪费了财力,也达不到良好的园林景观效果,实在令人惋惜。在这里,笔者想谈谈在园林设计中如何恰当地选用棕榈植物,以及棕榈植物如何与其它植物合理搭配,共创佳景。 In recent years, the cultivation of palm plants, a representative of tropical plants, has caused an upsurge in South China. It is true that South China has suitable soil and temperature environment for the growth of palm plants. Generally, they can grow well here. If they are reasonably selected in garden design, they can often create distinctive tropical gardens. However, in order to catch up with the trend, some people and some organizations have cut down some old trees that have been planted for decades and changed them into palm plants such as Dawang Coconut in order to catch up with the tide. This has greatly wasted financial resources and has not reached a good landscape. The effect is really regrettable. Here, I would like to talk about how to properly use palm plants in garden design, and how palm plants can be matched with other plants to create good scenery.
