高中历史是我国许多高中开设的一门人文教育基础课,在提高学生文化素质、人文素养方面肩负着重要使命。历史学科作为人文学科的核心学科之一,对提高学生的人文素养有着不可替代的作用。正如我国教育部颁布的《普通高中历史课程标准》明确提出:“普通高中历史课程必须全面实现其教育功能,在提高现代高中学生的人文素养方面发挥重要作用。”从中很容易就可以得出,新的课程目标要求:新世纪的历史教育不仅要使人明智,不仅要继承优秀的传统文化,也不仅要单纯培养学生的历史学科造诣,而是在历史中树立正确的人生观、世界观、价值观,在历史中学到做人的智慧,以史正明德。因此,本文重点阐释高中历史教育对提高学生人文素养的意义。
