当我为《文明》杂志作序的时候,北京奥运圣火正在中国境内一站接一站如火如荼地传递着。它将在中国一百多个城市的亿万群众中点燃激情,传递梦想。在此,我想向《文明》杂志表达我的感激,感谢他们出版了《北京奥运圣火传世界》这一奥运珍藏特刊。向中国乃至世界重申了奥运火炬传递的意义,传播了奥林匹克所代表的和平、友爱与普适性的理念与价值。
When I preface to the “Civilization” magazine, the Olympic torch of Beijing is passing through one stop in China in full swing. It will ignite passion and deliver dreams among hundreds of millions of people in more than 100 cities in China. Here, I would like to express my gratitude to Civilization magazine for the publication of the Olympic Special Issue of “Beijing Olympic Torch World”. Reiterated the significance of the Olympic torch relay to China and the world, and spread the concept and value of peace, friendship and universality represented by the Olympic Games.
