影视中涉及到轴线是影片用以建立画面空间和被表现主题位置关系的基本要素。为了保证被表现物体在影视画面空间中相对稳定的位置和统一的运动方向,在设计中应该在轴线的一侧区域内设置摄像机机位或安排运动,这就是处理景物关系和镜头运动时必须遵守的“轴线原则”。利用运动轴线的原理可以将一个连贯的动作分切成若干个片段,同时保持运动的连续性,这样就比只用一个镜头拍下整个运动更生动、更有趣味。
