铁基粉末冶金材料和制品在我国经济建设中已经得到广泛地应用并且取得了显著的技术经济效果。但国内产品的主要性能与先进国家产品相比仍有一定距离。我国产品的烧结态抗拉强度大都处于20~30kgf/mm~2的低密度、低强度水平;少部分强度要求较高的产品,是以添加铜元素方法制造的,其烧结态抗拉强度可提高到25~55kgf/mm~2。铜是我国的短缺资源且价格较贵,长期大量使用,增大了生产成本和外汇花销。另者,国内产品普遍不进行热处理。而国外产品的烧结态抗拉强度可达40~50kgf/mm~2;热处理状态抗拉强度达60~70kgf/mm~2;强度要求更高的产品,其抗拉强度达100kgf/mm~2以上。 由此可见,研制开发国内资源丰富、价格低廉的添加剂元素以及改进制造工艺是尽快提高我国铁基粉末
