我在《建国以来东夷古国史研究讨论述要》①一文中曾提出这样一个问题:山东地区的史前文化是仅仅局限在现今的半岛和露出海面的海岛之上,还是在半岛周围广大海域(甚至包括整个渤海和朝,日之间的广大海域)之内有类似欧洲希腊半岛爱琴文化那样的远东式的“爱琴文化”呢?当时只是作为一个问题提出来,未作论述。今天想从中、朝、日之间古地理与《山海经》古传说角度谈谈对这个问题的看法。
