邢台县地处太行山南段冀中低山丘陵地带,全县总面积为298万亩,其中山区面积占86%。地质情况为,朱庄——柏山——青山以西属于太古代花岗片麻岩;以东至辛店——长店——孔桥——北屋一线属于寒武、奥陶系灰岩;再向东全部为第四系松散层所覆盖,形成了邢台县三个不同的重要地质单元。 土薄、干旱是这里山区的突出特点。年平均雨量仅为650～700毫米, 年蒸发量为1707毫米,为年降水量的2.5倍,且时空分布

Thin soil, drought is a prominent feature of the mountains here. The average annual rainfall is only 650 ~ 700 mm, the annual evaporation of 1707 mm, 2.5 times the annual rainfall, and the spatial and temporal distribution
