石柱土家族自治县地处四川省东部,属“老少边穷”地区.1986年起,县卫生局结合山区的实际情况,对妇幼保健体制进行了大胆地改革尝试.由卫生局、计生委、县妇联共同创建了一支新型的妇幼保健、计划生育、妇女工作相结合的村级妇幼保健组织.经过三年的实践,现将其效果进行初步评价.
Shizhu Tujia Autonomous County is located in the eastern part of Sichuan Province, belonging to the “old and young while being poor.” Since 1986, the County Health Bureau has taken a bold attempt to reform the maternal and child health care system in light of the actual situation in mountainous areas. The Women’s Federation co-founded a new village-level MCH organization combining MCH, family planning and women’s work, and after three years of practice, its effectiveness is now tentatively evaluated.
