本文以人体隐喻为研究内容,对大量英汉语料进行分析,运用映射模式探讨了两种语言在人体隐喻上的异同。研究表明,英汉人体隐喻表达之间的相似性大于差异性。这是因为英汉身体隐喻同样源于身体经验,具有相同的生理、心理基础,即认知的普遍性。同时,英汉人体隐喻在表达上也存在一定的差异,这主要是由于文化的相对性造成的。
This dissertation takes human metaphor as the research content, analyzes a great deal of English and Chinese corpus, and explores the similarities and differences between the two languages in human metaphors by using the mapping model. The research shows that the similarities between English and Chinese human metaphors are greater than the differences. This is because the English-Chinese body metaphor also derives from the body experience, has the same physiological and psychological basis, that is, the universality of cognition. At the same time, English and Chinese human metaphors also have some differences in expression, which is mainly caused by the relative nature of culture.
