罗矮早三号“罗矮早三号”是罗源县城关大队科技小组于一九六六年用“珍珠矮”作母本、“梅峯一号”和玉米作父本混合授粉杂交育成的早秈品种。一九六九年罗源县各公社试种,一般亩产七百五十至九百斤,一九七一午县良种场种二十六亩,平均亩产七百多斤。全省各地引种也表现高产。主要特性:全生育期一百一十天。株高七十五公分。茎稈粗壮,叶色浓绿。分蘖力偏弱。穗大,籽粒饱满,千粒重二十八至三十克。耐肥力中等,苗期抗寒力较强。栽培要点:“罗矮早三号”生育期较短,分蘖力偏弱,要注意早播密植、浅插。施足基肥,早施分蘖肥,看苗适施穗肥。及时烤田,后期不能过早断水。
