The Nanjing Yangtze River Tunnel project constructed by China Railway 14 Group is located between the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge and Mihashi. The shield tunnel is 3020 meters in length and is designed to be a two-way 6-lane with a speed of 80 kilometers per hour. The two slurry-balanced shield machines used in the tunnel have a diameter of 14.93 meters and are one of the largest mud-water balance shield machines in the world with a total investment of about 3.318 billion yuan. Upon completion, it will completely change the single bridge in the Yangtze River in Nanjing City
