一、问题的提出随着我国“四化”建设和对外开放、对内搞活经济的方针实施的需要,并以“幼儿期是语言发展关键期”这一理论为依据,近年来社会上办起了各种形式的“幼儿英语学习班”。可是幼儿学外语到底好不好?学英语对幼儿的身心健康会产生什么样的影响?这些问题都牵动着父母的心,他们迫切希望得到答案。为此,我们进行了小样组的测查研究,并对测查结果进行评析。二、对象和方法1、对象以随机取样法,从幼专附幼两个业余幼儿英语班(4—5.5岁儿童)确定40名男女幼儿为实验组。(该组孩子都是自愿报名的。他们白天同日托孩子一样游戏生活,只每周两个晚上,每次半小时来园学英语。教师是上海外语学院专业教师;教材自编,学习期限一学期)。以同样方法,从幼专附幼4—5.5岁不学英语的儿童中确定28名男女幼儿为对照组。2、实验材料:
