11月28日是美国的感恩节,这一天,家家户户都为感恩节大餐忙碌着。节日的氛围和与家人欢聚的喜悦,令每个人的脸上都洋溢着快乐的笑容。大街上,路人行色匆匆。在人们的印象里,眼神里透着愉悦的,往往是往家赶的幸福人;而神情落寞,步子沉重,眼神游移漫无目的行走的,是没人等待的孤单人士和无家可归的流浪者。其实不尽然,在纽约,有这样一群人,他们是老人、孤儿、癌症患者、乞丐、单身人士、以及流浪者,他们正兴冲冲赶往曼哈顿公园附近的教堂。在那里,有丰富的大餐等他们享用。
November 28 is the United States of Thanksgiving, on that day, every household is Thanksgiving dinner busy. The atmosphere of the festival and the joy of rejoicing with the family make everyone’s face full of happy smiles. The streets, passers-by hurry. In the minds of people, there is a joyful sight in the eyes, often a happy person who goes to the house; but lonely, heavy steps and wandering aimlessly are lonely persons and homeless people waiting for no one Wanderer. In fact, not exactly, in New York, there are such groups of people as elderly, orphans, cancer patients, beggars, singles, and wanderers rushing toward the church near Manhattan Park. There, there is a rich meal waiting for them to enjoy.
