榆林市苏州中学是榆林乃至陕西省一所有重要影响的完全中学。1998年,在苏州市人民政府的援助下,榆林市第三中学扩大了办学规模,改善了办学条件,引进了先进的教育理念和教学方法,由初级中学扩建为完全中学,并更名为“榆林市苏州中学”。2003年12月被榆林市教育局确认为市级“重点中学”。学校占地面积60亩,建筑面积为25584平方米。学校现有67个教学班,在校学生5200多人,在岗教职工234人。学校教学主楼建筑面积3625平方米,投资250万元,其中苏州市人民政府援助100万元;西教学楼建筑面积3874平方米,投资290万元,其中苏
