In August 1949, the 49th Army of the Fourth Field Army of the People’s Liberation Army was ordered to chase down the insurgents of the Chen Ming-ren uprising forces. The 146th division of its pioneer unit, in the Qingshuping area of Yongfeng, present-day Shuangfeng in Hunan Province, Ministry of ambush, the division struggled counterattack, the final rush to fight, outnumbered, lost more than 800 people were forced to withdraw.
