Objective: To study the contralateral otoacoustic emission (TEOAE) contractile response in diabetic patients with normal hearing. Methods: Thirty healthy people with diabetes mellitus (DM group) and 30 healthy controls (control group) were examined by pure tone audiometry, acoustic impedance and TEOAE respectively. By adding 60 dB SPL broadband noise After TEOAE contralateral inhibitory effect test to assess its outgoing neurological function. Results: The pure tone threshold and the TEOAE amplitude of diabetic subjects were slightly lower than that of the control subjects, but there was no significant difference between the two. The contralateral inhibitory effect of TEOAE was lower than that of the control group, of which 2000 Hz and 4000 Hz Department of difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion: Diabetic patients whose auditory peripheral nerve function is changed when their peripheral hearing is still normal.
