This is Charlotte, NC, and it is fine on Tuesday morning. As lunch breaks, Hannah Spear, a seven-year-old school-goer in his own home, and his 5-year-old brother, Benjamin, are sitting at the table. Hannah did math homework on the exercise book while Benjamin was studying phonetic transcription. Two of their little brothers, Nathan, 4, and Thomas, 2, have already made some progress on the floor for the toy truck and are rummaging upwards.
