我国的电影产业发展较晚,但在早期的中西方文化交汇前沿,我国运用自身的丰富文化底蕴,汲取国外电影产业的经验并将其融入到自身的电影产业当中,创造出我国的电影体系,并在不断地突破中取得了显著的效果。民国电影的概念认定与历史建构,必须对中华民国史、民国文化以及中国早期电影进行研究,并与中国电影通史作对比,经过持续的探讨、论述以及再三的对照,方可使民国电影的概念认定与历史建构获得对应的合法性,才能发挥出料想的有用性。因此,重视民国电影与历史的复杂性、延展性、丰富性,凭借对电影生态环境实行还原,使历史现场能够得以回归,这样才能发挥出民国电影所具有的多重张力特性,也能探寻到理论和历史话语的不断创新。摒弃党派之争,转变革命观念,实行宽容的国族体验,转向国民想象,在史实和事实根基上建设基本的价值判断等是这条路径的发展方向,以此路径为根基才能构建出一种新型的民国电影史。
