九十年代无疑是个文学上众说纷纭的年代,各式各样的“流派”“主义”粉墨登场又很快消失,既带给我们耳目一新的感受,也让我们有不知所措的味道。很难说九十年代文学是否有经典,这毕竟是批太“现代时”的作品,但有一点难以否定:九十年代文学正在实践的确实是一个二十世纪中国文学始终渴望实现,又始终未能实现的文学变革。作为一个世纪文学的终结和下一个世纪文学的开端,在经历了七十年代末至八十年代中后期的文学“五四精神”与“本体意识”的复苏之后,九十年代文学更鲜明地将这种变革推进到文学的深层面,以更彻底反叛的姿态,多元地思索着中国文学“现代化”的命运。九十年代文学有其推陈出新的一面,同样有其不足和粗糙的一面。它的变革给予我们更多的是借鉴的作用,为更好地反思二十世纪文学,建构二十一世纪文学提供一个不同于其前文学的崭新的视角。
