1.电蚀过程的极效应现象火花放电过程中,电极的阳极和阴极表面分别受到电子和离子的轰击以及瞬时热源的作用,因此它们同时都会遭到电腐蚀。但是矛盾着的两方面中,必有一方面是主要的,它方面是次要的。因为阳极和阴极表面所获得的能量不一样,故蚀除量也是不一样的(即使是电极材料相同)。电火花加工时两极蚀除速度不同的现象叫做“极效应”。(严格而言指电极材料相同时)。一般习惯于当阳极蚀除速度大于阴极时的极效应称作“正”的,亦称“正极性”,反之称作“负”的,或称“负极性”。
