国家自然科学基金是我国支持基础研究的主渠道,并代表着我国自然科学研究的方向和水平,其立项情况已成为衡量高校和科研机构在自然科学领域科研实力和竞争力的重要标尺和依据.从国家自然科学基金项目立项角度分析“双一流”高校在自然科学领域的竞争力,以期为“双一流”高校不断提升其在自然科学领域的竞争力提供有益参考.以36所A类“双一流”高校在近5年(2015—2019年)间的国家自然科学基金立项数据为分析依据,从国家自然科学基金项目立项情况、项目类别、学科分布等多个维度对样本高校的科研竞争力进行揭示.结果表明,近5年来,36所A类“双一流”高校项目的年度分布呈现出快速增长的态势,各高校立项数量离散程度高,且各高校在自然科学领域的竞争力差异显著,其中以理工科为主的综合性高校表现出了极强的竞争力,上海交通大学、浙江大学、中山大学的立项数量位居前三甲.
