鸭脚树星室木虱(Pseudophacopteron alstonium Yang et Li)是1种近年来在南宁市为害糖胶树[Alstonia scholaris(Linn.)R.Br.]的重要害虫。通过对鸭脚树星室木虱各虫态的形态特征与其在寄主植物糖胶树上的发生规律和为害特点的观察与研究表明,成虫产卵和若虫为害与糖胶树新叶生长期相吻合,是近年来该种木虱在本市发生且造成严重为害的主要原因。针对其发生为害特点提出了防治建议。
