The fact is alarming - in today’s increasingly civilized and progressive society, women’s human rights are not properly guaranteed in the home. For this reason, this article mainly probes into the issue of husband’s violence against wife in Chinese family. The article first demonstrates the reality of the husband-wife violence in China. Second, through in-depth analysis, it points out that the reasons for the persistence of husband-wife violence are intricately complex and result from the combination of various factors at the micro and macro levels.
