有人说,一座建筑物往往比它的建筑师更不朽。建筑之不朽在于经过岁月的涤荡而存留下来的或金碧辉煌,或典雅秀丽,或古朴敦厚。其实,在这种物质的不朽之中,有一种精神的不朽更深刻、更持久,这就是建筑师用自己的才智和心灵铭刻在建筑和历史身上不可磨灭的印记。
Some people say that a building is often more immortal than its architect.
