“境”是中国美学最基本的范畴之一,对其进行多方面的考察,是把握中华美学品格的通途。先民的神灵崇拜孕育着它的人性根基;先秦“天人合一”的哲学思想是它形成的理论基础和前提;魏晋玄学的兴盛和佛教思想的传入直接催生出审美之“境”的诞生。可以说,这正是中国美学思想由萌芽走向成熟的道路。对这条道路的考察构成了审美之“境”的源考。
“Habitat ” is one of the most basic categories of Chinese aesthetics. To conduct a multi-dimensional investigation of it is a thoroughfare to grasp the character of Chinese aesthetics. The philosophical thought of “harmony between man and nature” in Pre-Qin period is the theoretical basis and premise of its formation; the prosperity of metaphysics in Wei and Jin dynasties and the introduction of Buddhism thought directly lead to the aesthetic “Habitat” was born. It can be said that this is exactly the way that Chinese aesthetic thoughts is maturing from maturity to maturity. The investigation of this road constitutes the source of the aesthetic “environment”.
