活性炭作为金的有效吸附剂,近十年间已日益广泛地用在金的湿法冶金领域。活性炭吸附提金被公认为是现代提金工业的重要成就,并被誉为是近百年氰化法提金工艺的一项重大技术突破。本文除就活性炭提金的发展简史、工艺原理及国内外现状加以介绍外,并就活性炭的应用前景谈几点看法。一、发展简史早在1847年就已知活性炭有吸附贵金属的特性。至1917年止连续发表过这类论文约46篇。1880年首次用木炭从氰化金溶液中提取金,1894年又公布了从含金氰化液中用木炭吸附金的专利。1902年南非等地提金业中已使用木炭吸附金,随后活性炭于本世纪初实现工业化生产。澳大利亚金矿在1916年正式用活性炭吸附法取代锌置换法提取金。当时多数理论曾错误地认为木炭提金是简单的还原过程。1926年开始有了吸附理论的报道。1939年切普曼取得了从氰化矿浆中用活性炭提金的专利。到二次世界大
