到目前为止,世界最大的乐器是英国利物浦的圣大教堂的管风琴,它重达十吨,琴中的笛管有一万多根。由于它音域广阔、音色丰富,演奏起来就象一支管弦乐队那样宏亮。而世界上最小的乐器,要算我国少数民族民间乐器“口弦”〔一称“口琴”〕了。这种乐器在我国彝族、苗族、景颇族、哈尼族同胞的生活中占有重要地位。口弦分为一片、三片、五片三种,即使五片(发五音)的,它只重十克左右,仅为利物浦管风琴重量的万分之一!
