抗旱造林技术是干旱地区生态环境建设中的一个十分重要的环节。尽管各国学者对树木抗旱的机理做了大量的研究,且在抗旱树种的选育上取得了显著的成果,选育出大批抗旱新品种或无性系,但是作为林业建设中的一个重要环节,抗旱造林技术对于提高干旱地区树木的造林成活率,以及提高水分利用效率,促进树木更好地生长都具有不可替代的作用。近年来,随着科学技术的不断发展,除了常规的节水抗旱措施外,还出现了多种提高树木抗旱性和成活率的措施,通过改善树木的抗旱性或改善土壤水分状况来达到抗旱的目的。
