本文试图从对性别二元对立超越的角度来分析弗吉尼亚·伍尔夫的作品。二元论是西方哲学的基本理论思想之一。伍尔夫的作品充分刻画了男/女,文明/自然,现实/意识,生/死之间的二元对立现象,但她的思想超越了传统的二元论,她摒弃二元绝对对立的思想,认为二元双方既相互对立又互为补充,应该和谐共存于一种动态平衡之中,而这种平衡构成了人类社会向前迈进的健全的基础。
This article attempts to analyze Virginia Woolf’s work in terms of transcendence of gender duality. Dualism is one of the basic theoretical ideas in western philosophy. Woolf’s work fully portrays the binary opposition between men and women, civilization / nature, reality / consciousness, life / death, but her thinking transcends the traditional dualism. She abandons the idea of absolute dualism, He believes that the two parties should oppose each other and complement each other, and should coexist harmoniously in a kind of dynamic balance, which constitutes the sound basis for the advance of human society.
