唯物辩证法揭示了物质世界发展的最一般的规律,对立统一规律是唯物辩证法最根本的规律.列宁指出:“可以把辩证法简要地规定为关于对立的统一学说”.毛泽东同志进一步发展列宁这一思想,指出:“对立统一规律是宇宙的根本规律,这个规律不论在自然界、人类社会和人们的思想中,都是普遍存在.矛盾着的对立面又统一,又斗争,由此推动事物的运动和发展.”因此,要深刻了解物质运动的客观规律,必须用对立统一规律去揭露物质运动的内在矛盾,从而使我们有可能正确地认识客观事物的规律性,有能力预见事物发展的方向和趋势,并依据这样的预见,正确地指导实践、指导生产、推动生产的发展.
