作者设置的一套药品管理系统，在提高大型医院药品管理的现代化，控制药房，药库管理中的疏漏和帐薄上的差错，减轻工作强度，提高劳动效率，核算快速准确，调阅查询便捷，争创两个效益方面做出了积极的尝试。经初步的探索与实践后，对系统运行条件、主要功能、工作方式等方面提出具体要求，同时还提出应用中有待延伸的问题。
