笔者从教通用技术教学已经有三年多,在教学的过程中,自已和同行们都有一种困惑,怎样把通用技术课教好?在自己不断地教学实践过程中,积极实践探索,努力践行通用技术课程的基本理念;经过这几年的教学思考、归纳和总结,初步总结出一套较为有效地课堂教学方法。按照课程理念要求,笔者以《桥梁承重设计比赛》为实例,教学中引入比赛竞争机制,通过介绍桥梁架结构设计的案例,让学生以小组为单位团队协作,学习讨论如何进行结构设计,并最终用一次性筷子将桥梁搭建起进行实验,检测、优化和改进设计,将理论知识和实际应用结合起来让学生经历完整的设计过程,有利于学生对知识的理解与掌握。
