清代,从东南地区运往北京、通州及边陲的漕粮时常由于漕船迟至、北运河不畅等原因被截留在天津,这些截留在天津的漕粮会在适当的时候再行转运。记载转运天津截漕过程的史料很少,雍正初年曾任兵部侍郎的李绂在其文集《穆堂别稿》中留下了一篇日记,详细记载了雍正二年转运天津截漕至通州的全过程。
During the Qing dynasty, grain shipments from the southeast to Beijing, Tongzhou and the border were often intercepted in Tianjin due to late arrival of the watercrafts and sluggish Northern Grand Canal. The grain traps retained in Tianjin were re-transported at an appropriate time. There are few historical records of the process of transporting water in Tianjin. Li Yong, who served as assistant minister in the early years of Emperor Yongzheng, left a diary in his essay entitled “Mu Tang Pangu”, detailing Yongzheng’s transfer of the Caojing River to Tongzhou The whole process.
