豫谷18系河南省安阳市农业科学院利用豫谷1号作母本,大穗新品系保282作父本,通过有性杂交选育而成的优质高产谷子新品种。在2010-2011年国家谷子品种区域试验中,两年平均产量为5 398.5 kg/hm2,较对照冀谷19增产14.88%,居参试品种第一位;在2011年国家谷子生产试验中,平均产量为5 090.7 kg/hm2,居参试品种第一位,较对照冀谷19增产17.32%;2012年2月通过全国谷子品种鉴定委员会鉴定,定名为豫谷18。
