王锺陵先生的新著《20世纪中西文论史》以不同于西方文论与中国传统文论的宏大理论视野对20世纪的西方文论和中国文学与戏剧的文体流变进行了全面而深入的论述,不仅完成了文论史研究的革新,而且也建立起了融合、超越中西的文艺理论新体系。在文论史研究革新方面,王锺陵先生将文论史放在20世纪中西文化思想内在矛盾的运行轨迹中展开论述,揭示了中西方文论演变的内在规律。在文艺理论体系建设方面,王锺陵先生将文体作为理论体系的重点,以新存在论、新诠释学为基础,以文艺史运动规律与各种文艺体类的本体论为核心展开论述。一方面探究文体特征的哲学依据,另一方面探究文体变化的历史规律。在研究方法方面,王锺陵先生以活的逻辑学思路叙述文论史的动态规律,以跨学科的方法探讨文论史的复杂性,并以心理感悟的方法把握理论家的内心世界,使文论史变得更加鲜活。
Wang Zhongling’s new book The History of Chinese and Western Literary Theories in the 20th Century made a comprehensive and in-depth study on the literary styles of Chinese literary and drama in the 20th century with the grand theoretical perspective different from western literary theory and Chinese traditional literary theory Exposition, not only completed the innovation of the study of history of literature and art, but also established a new system of literature and art theory that merged and surpassed both China and the West. In the research on the history of literary theory, Mr. Wang Zhongling put the history of literary studies on the running track of the inherent contradictions between Chinese and Western cultural thoughts in the 20th century, revealing the inherent law of the evolution of literary theory in China and the West. In terms of research methods, Mr. Wang Zhongling narrates the dynamic laws of the history of literary theory from the perspective of living logic, discusses the complexity of the literary theory history through an interdisciplinary approach, grasps the inner world of theorists with the method of psychological perception, History has become more alive.
