1. The “fans of Wanilov” abroad said that only two anecdotes as described in “Anecdotes of Other Provinces” have fascinated the spectators in the Soviet Union and in many other countries. The reason is where? Is the event itself “odd” it? In fact, the so-called two anecdotes is not surprising. One was that Carlo Shin, manager of a small hotel in some province, mistook a typo worker (Russian: Mitterabas) in a lodging house for fear of serving as a chief in Moscow, Is the agronomist Hemtov out of ordinary people’s compassion, willing to help others, not only not be understood, but was ridiculed and shy. They are neither sensational nor complicated and confusing, but their power in the audience’s mind is far greater than some of the operas that write “odd” and “noisy” songs.
