引言本文叙述了应用断层位错理论和面波的简正模式理论,直接估计离断层为中等距离的长周期结构的地震反应。主要对象是长周期(6秒以上)的结构。作者考虑了一个潜在的大地震,预期在不太远的将来会沿着加利福尼亚San Andreas断层的南部发生。假想的原型事件是1857年的Fort Tejon地震。
INTRODUCTION This paper describes the theory of fault dislocation and the normal mode theory of surface wave to directly estimate the seismic response of a long period structure with a medium distance from the fault. The main object is a long period (6 seconds) structure. The authors consider a potential earthquake that is expected to take place in the southern part of the San Andreas, California, in the not-too-distant future. The hypothetical prototype event was the 1857 Fort Tejon earthquake.
