Objective To investigate the impact of planned, implemented, confirmed, and managed (PDCA) procedural care on the incidence of adverse reactions and quality of life in patients with malignant glioma after radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Methods Eighty-seven patients with malignant glioma undergoing surgery were randomly divided into observation group (45 cases) and control group (42 cases). Both groups were given the same radiotherapy and chemotherapy after surgery, the control group during the radiotherapy and chemotherapy using conventional care, the observation group during the radiotherapy and chemotherapy using PDCA program care. Analysis of two groups of patients with adverse reactions and quality of life. Results The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group during radiotherapy and chemotherapy was significantly lower than that in the control group (P <0.05). The quality of life scale in the observation group was better than that in the control group in all dimensions and scores (all P <0.05). Conclusions PDCA procedure can significantly reduce the incidence of adverse reactions after radiotherapy and chemotherapy in patients with malignant glioma and improve the quality of life during radiotherapy and chemotherapy. It has an important clinical value in clinical treatment.
