为落实党中央、国务院关于加强建设节约型社会宣传工作的指示精神,国家发展改革委员会、中央文明办与中央电视台联合推出为期一个月的“全民节约,共同行动”大型主题宣传活动。为了密切配合央视的整体宣传,8月14日央视国际网站正式推出《全民节约·共同行动》网络签名活动,当天发布零首页头条,并推出内容丰富的网上专题,以便全国的网民参与网上签名,同时在网上征集网民意见。据统计,截至9月7日,参与签名的网民近三万人次,征集节约提案的反馈留言715条,网民发表意见超过500余条。
