Artistic conception is the core and soul of poetry and becomes an important criterion for judging the pros and cons of poetry. In translation, how to reconstruct the mood in the source text into the target text becomes a challenge. This article tries to discuss the reconstruction of artistic conception and the translator’s role in the process from the formation of artistic conception.
