More and more researches have shown that there is an inseparable connection between aboveground vegetation and underground soil ecology. Aboveground vegetation changes physical and chemical properties of soil through rhizosphere and litter and affects the structure and composition of soil biota. On the contrary, soil biota affects the diversity of aboveground vegetation through its own physiological and biochemical processes and behaviors. Both reinforce and strengthen the degree of specificity of the entire above-ground and subsurface ecosystems through feedback and negative feedback. This article will discuss in detail how the aboveground vegetation and soil organisms interact with each other and affect their ecological characteristics.
